Professional legal experience with a personal approach 

Hello, I'm Zara, founder of ZW Wills.

After completing my Law Degree and the Legal Practice Course (LPC), I began my legal career working for solicitors' firms in property law and probate. Those years gave me a solid understanding of how important it is to have the right plans in place for the future.

Sadly, my mum died unexpectedly without a Will and without letting us know what her wishes were. Going through that experience made me realise just how difficult it can be for the family left behind. 

My previous work in probate had already shown me the challenges families can face when someone dies without a Will. Living through it myself gave me a completely   different perspective.

After my mum's death, I felt inspired to return to the legal profession with a renewed sense of purpose. I wanted to use both my professional experience and my own      personal experience to help other families avoid some of the uncertainty and stress that we faced. That's why I     founded ZW Wills.

I know that making a Will or putting Lasting Powers of Attorney in place can feel like something you'll get around to one day. My aim is to make the process straightforward, personal and reassuring. I'll take the time to understand your circumstances, explain everything in plain English and help you put plans in place that give you and your loved ones peace of mind.
